is the very first care leavers association in Asia, founded in 2017 with the support of SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka. On 16 September 2017, the Generation Never Give-up (GNG) Network of care leavers was launched, with the participation of 37 care leavers from SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, FRIDSRO, Sarvodaya and Emerge Centre. GNG is a peer support network intended to provide advocacy and support for youth facing new vulnerabilities as a result of leaving the relative security of alternative care.
